The Sudanese Society of Gastroenterology (SSG) holds its third
International conference in collaboration with the African
Middle Eastern Society of Digestive Oncology 
(AMSDO)
on the 11-13th February 2011, preceded by two days of workshops
9-10th Feb in various aspects of the specialty. The
conference will be a panorama where African and Arab scientists
meet together with the most renowned pillars of gastroenterology
worldwide. It is also a golden opportunity for our local
specialists, residents, medical officers and students to be
updated in the most innovative developments in the field of
gastroenterology.
The conference will focus on refining the local experience and
offer global flavour to young aspiring specialists manning the
various regions in the Sudan.
Invited speakers include global elite in the specialty from
Europe, Asia and The Middle East lecturing in a range of
subjects from oesophageal, colorectal,
hepato-pancreatico-duodenal diseases and liver transplant. There
will be several educational workshop in endoscopy, laparoscopy,
ultrasound in addition to updates in Viral hepatitis and special
workshop for endoscopy nurses. There is an excellent social
programme.
